Vacation," has music by composer Ben Cohn. |
| Singer(s): |
Farmer Eli and his
wife, Maria. |
| Description: |
The
farmer's wife and daughter go with him by wagon so he can see
the ocean for the first time in his long life. But he is filled
with unease. As they stop to rest, he goes to a well to get water,
and returns insisting it tastes unpleasant, even though wife
and daughter think it's fine. He insists, "Not like at home.
Our old well serves up some mighty fine refreshment!" And
he sings this song. |
