(This is a good one to turn way up.)
Artist Statement
This song was inspired in part by the work of The Decemberists and Colin Meloy, whose work I have been listening to incessantly for years now. I like to think this comes through in its mythic and folkloric elements as well as its theme of madness and the brutal potential of blind faith. Or the blind potential of brutal faith. Your pick.

The Road to Catatonia (Fine, Fine Line)
NEW
SUMMER 2019
Somewhere on the road to Catatonia
Somewhere on the road I lost my love
I stroked her pretty head
But I knew that she was dead
Somewhere on the road I lost my love
Somewhere on the road to Catatonia
Somewhere on the road I lost my home
Something told me I should fly
Once those flames lit up the sky
Somewhere on the road I lost my home

It’s a fine, fine line x 4

Somewhere on the road to Catatonia
Somewhere on the road I lost my name
Their mouths were wide and round
But they did not make a sound
Somewhere on the road I lost my name

It’s a fine, fine line x 4
Now I’ve found the road to Catatonia
I shut my eyes and opened to the Way
Now my shadow walks the land
Weapon blazing in his hand
Perhaps he’ll cross your path one lucky day
Perhaps he’ll cross your path one lucky day
Perhaps he’ll cross your path come Judgment Day
It’s a fine, fine line x 4
