Plot

Connor is an odd fellow who keeps—and talks—to himself, yet seems a person of integrity and, incongruously, owns a children's shoe shop. There is something about him...a secret? He becomes aware of a tragedy striking his community, as children are disappearing. The "heroes"of his metropolis are unable or unwilling to solve this mystery, so he must take on powerful players and forces to find those who have been taken. This will be more difficult in his fragmented, dangerous city.

Characters

Characters of significance include several children of extraordinary potential, teen gang members who are not what they appear, a woman and "aging hacker," a few superheroes, and a media mogul with complex motivations. (Among these characters are folks from several underrepresented  populations, TBD.)
